Dr. Marissa Land, Au.D.

Dr. Land received her doctoral degree at University of South Alabama in 2014 and completed her externship at Cleveland Clinic Florida. She is originally from Tampa, FL and obtained her Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Hearing and Speech Sciences at the University of South Florida. She began her career helping to build a busy audiology practice in an ENT office in sunny Jupiter, FL and has worked with a variety of patients with hearing and balance disorders. 

 

She is licensed in the states of North Carolina, as well as Florida and is a fellow of the Academy

 of Audiology (FAAA). Additionally, she received her certification of clinical competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She recently moved to North Carolina to join the Smithfield team and is extremely excited to help

 the community and surrounding areas with their hearing needs!

 

On her spare time, Dr. Land and her partner, David, enjoy traveling and spending time with their daughter Naomi and husky, Kiki. She is also excited to explore the mountains and beaches that North Carolina has to offer!

 

She prides herself in prioritizing patient care, patient satisfaction, and relationship building. She thoroughly enjoys the relationships that are developed with patients and their families as they work together to resolve communication issues.
