Jordan Coates, Coates Hearing clinic co-owner

Jordan Coates

Jordan was born and raised in Smithfield, NC. Jordan is married to Dr. Coates and they live a few miles outside of town on Highway 210 in a house that his grandfather built himself on land that has been owned by his family for generations. It has always been a dream of his to open a service-based business in his hometown. I am originally from Florida. I am a mom to 3 kids, 11 chickens and 2 goats. Interests outside of work include spending time with my family, my farm, and I have a wonderful husband who I met in 2013. We decided to move to NC a year ago to pursue a new opportunity in the field of audiology. I feel very passionate about developing amazing relationships and improving patients’ quality of life through communication. My particular audiology interest is community outreach and educating senior citizens on the importance of hearing health.

Ella Rini

Lab Manager

Outside of work, she loves to go on breathtaking hikes in the mountains or relax on the beach with a book in her hand. When she’s not outside looking for adventure, she loves to stay in and try new recipes or catch up on her crochet, paint, and sewing projects. She has a strong passion for helping people, specifically in the hearing loss community, as she strongly believes in the importance of communication. The inability to hear can lead to frustration or social isolation, so being able to give back any degree of hearing can greatly impact quality of life. Meeting new people and sharing stories and interests is Ella’s favorite part about seeing patients. She loves being able to listen to patients in order to give them the best experience possible.
