Jordan was born and raised in Smithfield, NC. After graduating high school in 2003, he left for Chapel Hill to go to college at UNC (Go Heels!). His full-time job is as a Sales Manager at Deacon Jones Ford in Goldsboro. He has been working for the Jones family since 2012.
Jordan lives a few miles outside of town on Highway 210 in a house that his grandfather built himself on land that has been owned by his family for generations. It has always been a dream of his to open a service-based business in his hometown. Kate and Jordan both agreed that there was an unmet need for audiological care in their town, so they opened Coates Hearing Clinic in 2019 to meet that need.

Kelsey is the voice you will most likely hear when you call the clinic. She assists with scheduling and answering questions. Kelsey is from California but has enjoyed making North Carolina her home. She was a teacher’s assistant previously in a Clayton elementary school. She loved working with children but wanted to work in the healthcare field.
Kelsey enjoys getting to know new patients then seeing them leave here hearing much better. We truly are a family business, as Kelsey is Dr. Coates’ sister-in-law.
Kelsey spends her free time with her family and walking her two dogs. She just moved into a new home.
