Dr. Meagan Thornton, Au.D.
Biography
Dr. Meagan Thornton believes that better hearing leads to better communication, stronger relationships, and an improved quality of life. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University in 2020, followed by her Doctor of Audiology degree from East Carolina University in 2024.
She provides comprehensive hearing care, including diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, tinnitus evaluations and management, and cerumen management. In December 2024, she became certified in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT).
Dr. Thornton enjoys educating patients about hearing health, communication strategies, cognitive health, and tinnitus management while helping them find personalized solutions that fit their lifestyle. She also looks forward to expanding her experience with cochlear implants and bone-anchored hearing systems (BAHS).
Outside of the office, Dr. Thornton enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family, friends, and her two dogs, Jasmine and Fudge.
